Agrostudies Internships
Agrostudies training program is specializing in two main courses
Animal science and horticulture
The Animal Science Wing
specialized and dedicated to the study and research of various aspects of animal husbandry, health, and welfare. This wing focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of animal biology, behavior, nutrition, genetics, and management practices.
Students gain hands-on experience through practical training in livestock handling, farm management, and more, all within their assigned animal farms. They learn how to assess and improve animal welfare, optimize breeding programs, and enhance productivity in livestock production systems.
The Animal Science Wing also serves as a hub for cutting-edge research in areas such as animal genetics, reproduction, nutrition, and disease management. Lecturers and students collaborate on projects aimed at advancing knowledge and addressing challenges facing the agricultural industry, including sustainability, food security, and animal welfare concerns.

The Horticulture wing
focuses on the cultivation and management of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants. It encompasses a range of topics including plant propagation, soil management, pest and disease control, irrigation techniques, and post-harvest handling.
Students in the Horticulture wing learn about various cultivation methods such as greenhouse production, hydroponics, and organic farming. They also gain practical experience through hands-on training in their assigned farms.
The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the horticultural industry. Whether participants aspire to become commercial growers, landscape designers, or simply want to cultivate their own gardens, this provides a solid foundation for pursuing this career.

Our main goal is to prepare our students for diverse career paths in agriculture, including roles in livestock production, veterinary medicine, Green house and irrigation systems establishment, open field cultivation, research, extension services, and agribusiness. With a strong emphasis on practical skills and scientific knowledge, graduates are equipped to make meaningful contributions to the field of agriculture in their countries and help shape the future of agriculture.
