Alfred Mtengwa Manyanda

Alfred, a Tanzanian student who trained in the program in batch of 2021-2022 in Mushroom farm in the northern part of Israel.

Manyanda is a graduate of Horticulture degree in Sokoine university of Agriculture and his research project in Agrostudies was “Compare mushroom growing strategies”. Nowadays he is the manager of his own farm and growing corn, watermelon, tomatoes, melon and more. He is explaining “I learned a lot of things including concentration in vegetable farming “, skills which helped him to thrive and grow his business.

When was asked about his big dream Alfred shares “My biggest dream is to become a big farmer capable of feeding a large part of the African continent.”
