Meet our graduate!

Samveasna David – Cambodia – Our graduate of batch 2015-2016

After David returned from Israel, he decided to combine his passion to research along with the work on the unique fish farm owned by his family in Siem reap province. David is working on his thesis at the research station of Royal University of Cambodia about a Korean project (1000 chickens) which he is collecting data about since he returned to Cambodia. 

Moreover, he is taking part in his family farms, which includes few hundred of chickens, 4-5 variety of fish with around 20 ponds, organic vegetables and citrus. A great achievement was accomplishes as H.E. Shakon Veng Cambodian minister of Agriculture, forestry and fisheries of Cambodia visited the family farms. Their farm is considered as one of the outstanding farms in his home town and also won the 1st place in the government competition locating this unique farms. David is the mainstay and future generation of the family farm, and today, alongside his intensive studies, he does not give up his presence and work to promote the farm success. 

David shared his experience in Agrostudies: “It was a great journey during that time and I’ve changed a lot. Since I got back I am more stable, I got to know Israel culture and agriculture. I don’t think I could get that experience from anywhere else. I consider it a one in a lifetime experience where I learned and grow “.
